Learning with us

There are many ways in which we can help you learn and develop your skills and gifts. Elsewhere on our website you’ll find lots of information on our short courses and many other opportunities for learning. What follows here tells you all about the main academic courses we have on offer you.

One of Westminster’s chief purposes is training people for Christian ministry. In recent years there have been about 40 people pursuing programmes with the college – mostly from the URC, with a few from other churches and parts of the world.

For many years Westminster has served not only resident students, but also some who do most of their learning at a distance from Cambridge.

Westminster offers the benefits of a small community, along with a diverse range of academic programmes.

There are several main training tracks – all designed and taught with ministry in mind – and various other possibilities in the local universities.

You may wonder how a small college can run such a diverse range of academic programmes. That is possible because of our links in Cambridge, to two very different universities, in a strong and developing theological Federation.

If you want to explore any of our courses and find out more about learning with us simply get in touch. We're always willing to discuss the potential programme with possible students and can also give you more detailed information to help you make decisions.
