The Campus

Westminster’s future will be as a campus of theological discovery. Four other significant organisations will share Westminster’s site by the end of 2017.

The Campus

The Cambridge Centre for Christianity Worldwide occupies purpose-built library and office space in Westminster’s former Principal’s Lodge. In what used to be teaching staff accommodation at the rear of the site are the administrative offices of the Cambridge Theological Federation. The Woolf Institute of Abrahamic Faiths, a leading centre for dialogue between Christians, Jews and Muslims, will be housed in a brand new building due for completion in summer, 2017. Within that new building will also be the Faraday Institute for Science and Religion.

All these partners will share some facilities, and there will be much joint planning and delivery of rich learning opportunities. Around meals, at worship, in classes and libraries and through daily chance encounters Westminster will host an ecumenical, international, multi-faith and inter-cultural community of communities.
