Hannah is a PhD student in New Testament at the Faculty of Divinity, Cambridge. Hannah has been in Cambridge since she came to study Theology in 2015: following four years as a BA and then an MPhil student, Hannah worked full-time for St Andrew’s Church, Chesterton, beginning her PhD research in 2021. She is the Decani Scholar at Clare College, which means she supports the life, ministry, and worship of Clare Chapel with pastoral and preaching commitments.
Hannah’s research interests include Paul’s letters, ecclesiology, and Christology: her PhD research interprets the metaphors of the ‘body of Christ’ in Paul’s letters, with particular attentiveness as to how these metaphors resource us to think about diversity, unity, and identity within the church. She writes regularly for the Bible Reading Fellowship (with which she has published two books for young people) and serves on Ely Diocesan Synod (Church of England).
