Westminster’s recent redevelopment enables us to cater to the many and evolving needs of individuals, congregations, and committees of the wider United Reformed Church, as well as our ecumenical and inter-faith partners beyond.

If you are looking to organise an event, please visit Conferences and Events or contact our team. We welcome enquiries from individuals and groups from other traditions.Creativity and feeding a spiritual imagination are fundamental to our life and work.

We offer you opportunity for retreat and spiritual guidance along with the creative possibilities of our worship, chapel, prayer labyrinth and art studio. Cambridge provides a host of additional opportunities, and many add time to enjoy these to participation in an event with us. To find out more please get in touch. We are always happy to add you to our contact lists.

As you can see from the upcoming events listed below, we offer a growing and diverse range of programmes for the church. Most of these are open to lay and ordained participants. Some focus explicitly upon specific groups and ministries such as URC worship leaders and preachers or leaders of fresh expressions of church. But the vasty majority invite participation from a broad a group of attendees.


As from 1 February 2018, the College carpark will be regulated as follows:

Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm – Annual Permit holders only
Monday to Friday – 5pm to 8am – Pay and Display (£1.50 per hour, £5.00 over 3 hours and overnight stay)
Weekends All day – Pay and Display (£1.50 per hour, £5.00 over 3 hours and overnight stay)

Please note, however, that all URC events will be exempt from any parking charges.

The Gathering : A Westminster and URC Mission Department initiative for Pioneers

The Gathering is an opportunity for those involved in pioneering and Fresh Expressions projects to come together in a facilitated residential three times a year to share experience, support each other and learn together. Whilst Covid is currently preventing us meeting physically we continue to meet regularly online which the group are finding a helpful resource. If you would like to  know more about joining this or future Gatherings please contact Linda Rayner or Peter Ball who will be happy to discuss this with you.

End of Life Matters
Day Conference
Saturday March 20th 2021, 10.30am – 4pm
Online Zoom meeting with breakout rooms

This one-day workshop will be an opportunity to develop understanding and think through a Christian response to issues related to the end of life.

Ministry in a Time of Trauma: A virtual one day course for those in Church Ministry
Saturday 8th May 2021, 10am – 4pm

Aims of the course – To enable those attending to be better equipped to self-care and to minister to their congregations and communities in a time of trauma.

We will arrange a conversation with a member of teaching staff at the beginning of your time to help you focus and to make sure you have some good resources, not least through our library. We’ll talk with you at the end to help you take things onwards.

Supporting Elders 2019 - Leadership and Spirituality

We look forward to welcoming you to Westminster for our 2019 Supporting Elders residential. This year we will be focusing on ways in which Elders can be supported in the important task of offering Leadership of the local church and how in the business of the role we can both develop our own spiritual lives and offer spiritual leadership to the church.

Blue Planet, Blue God

       

In collaboration with the Faraday Institute and Wesley House this is a conference for anybody concerned with the well being of our planet and our oceans.
