Meet Your Tutor
Dr. Alison Gray
Alison is the Director of Studies and Tutor in Old Testament Language, Literature, and Theology at Westminster College, Cambridge. She is also an Affiliated Lecturer at the Faculty of Divinity, University of Cambridge and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). Dr. Gray completed her undergraduate studies in Theology at Cambridge, followed by an MPhil and PhD focusing on Hebrew metaphors in the Psalms. Her research interests include the theology of the Hebrew Bible, semantics of Ancient Hebrew, and the use of metaphor in biblical interpretation. Dr. Gray is passionate about making biblical texts accessible and engaging, fostering a learning environment that encourages both academic rigour and personal reflection.

Materials: Course materials will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring their own Hebrew Bible.
Prerequisites: Participants should have completed an introductory course in Biblical Hebrew or possess equivalent knowledge.
Refunds:

- 50% refunds will be provided on request up to and including 31st October 2025.
