Working at Westminster College

Westminster College, Cambridge is a small, friendly, and academically vibrant theological institution. We serve as a Resource Centre for Learning for the United Reformed Church (URC) and deliver theological education in collaboration with the Cambridge Theological Federation.

Who We Are

Westminster is rooted in a tradition of rigorous theological study, pastoral formation, and inclusive hospitality. We support students preparing for ministry, engaged in continuing professional development, or pursuing postgraduate study and research.

We are also a place of spiritual renewal, offering retreat space and resources for faith exploration and growth.

Our Collaborative Context

We are proud members of the Cambridge Theological Federation—a unique ecumenical partnership of twelve theological colleges and specialist centres. The Federation draws on Anglican, Lutheran, Methodist, Orthodox, and Roman Catholic traditions, as well as interfaith and science-and-religion scholarship, creating a rich environment for learning and teaching.

As one of three United Reformed Church Resource Centres for Learning, we work alongside Northern College (Manchester) and Scottish College (Glasgow) to serve the denomination through education, formation, and theological resourcing.

The URC is a small but diverse denomination, with congregations across England, Scotland, and Wales. It embraces theological breadth and is committed to being a welcoming, inclusive, and anti-racist Church.
