Hannah is a current PhD student in New Testament at the Faculty of Divinity (University of Cambridge), researching ‘body of Christ’ metaphors in Paul’s letters. Her research interests include ecclesiology and feminist interpretation of the New Testament: at the heart of her work is attentiveness to the ways in which the New Testament is – and could be – interpreted in different ecclesial contexts.

Hannah supervises in New Testament and Greek for the Faculty of Divinity and teaches for the Cambridge Theological Federation. She writes regularly for the Bible Reading Fellowship (with which she has published two books for young people, ‘God’s Daughters’ (2016) and ‘Rooted in God’s Grace’ (2018)). Until June 2024 Hannah served as a lay representative on Ely Diocesan Synod (Church of England) and as the Decani Scholar at Clare College Chapel, Cambridge. Before beginning PhD study, Hannah was the Youth Worker and Pastoral Assistant at St Andrew’s Church, Chesterton.
