Responding to Covid-19

Wherever you are reading this, the Westminster team hopes that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy in these challenging times.

To view our current policies and read our COVID-Secure Site Safety measures, please visit our dedicated Responding to Covid-19 page.

At this time, our team is continuing to work remotely where possible as we move towards welcoming our community and visitors back to the College. Whilst this reduces the number of people on site, it doesn’t reduce our commitment to you and our teams are still contactable and ready to answer any questions that you may have regarding holding future conferences, events or the booking of accommodation.

Our team are here to help you plan a safe and successful return to Westminster College in the future.

The Westminster College Team

Westminster College offers bright and airy en-suite bedrooms, within the historic setting of a Cambridge College.

Located in the heart of the city, Westminster College can offer bed and breakfast facilities to the public all year round, making it the perfect location for a leisure break or a residential retreat for business trips.

The College is easily accessible from major road networks. The City Centre and its main attractions are within a 3 minute walk of the College.

All of the College’s 38 en-suite bedrooms are welcoming and comfortable, and have been created with both the business and leisure traveller in mind. Our room types include single rooms, single suites, single accessible rooms and double rooms. The architecture of the building means that rooms vary in size. Currently we do not have family rooms available.

You might also be interested in our two cottages. These sit in the grounds to the rear of the main building, overlooking our prayer labyrinth and art studio. Each comprises a lounge with a dining area and fitted kitchen, a separate double bedroom and a bathroom. Often sabbatical and longer term visitors enjoy these more secluded homes.

URC members are welcome to join us at any time throughout the year and are eligible for a URC discount.

To redeem URC discounted rates, please contact either:

Parking & Transport

Westminster College has a limited number of spaces available and they are regulated as follows:

• Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm – Permit holders only
• Monday to Friday – 5pm to 8am – Pay and Display (£1.50 per hour, £5.00 over 3 hours and overnight stay)
• Weekends All day – Pay and Display (£1.50 per hour, £5.00 over 3 hours and overnight stay)

Although, the College is easily accessible from the major road networks (A14 and M11), parking on-site remains extremely limited and we cannot guarantee parking on-site on arrival.

Also Cambridge is very congested during peak times and access by car might not be the fastest mean of transport. Therefore, when possible, We strongly recommend using the Madingley Road Park and Ride, metered parking on Pound Hill or pay and display car park on Castle Hill. You will find further details about alternative parking here.

Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information on 01223 33 06 30.
