Robin is Director of Church Resource Development. He joined Westminster in January 2024 and splits his time with Ridley Hall where he has worked since 2007 in several roles, including: Tutor in Youth and Community Work, Director of Studies, Dean of Lay Ministry and Director of Innovation. In these roles Robin has been responsible for initiating and developing several new educational initiatives in partnership with a variety of stakeholders.

At Westminster. Robin works collaboratively within Senatus and with the wider college community to support Westminster’s strategic planning as we move into a new era for theological education – both within the URC and within society more broadly.

Robin’s ministry background is in youth and community work and as a substance misuse worker in a maximum-security prison. His academic interests are in practical and philosophical theology. Robin has teaching experience as a social work and youth work practice teacher and as a tutor in pastoral care and reflective practice. Robin’s MA is in Philosophy and Religion from Heythrop College, University of London. Robin has also undertaken further postgraduate study in Oral Life History Research, Philosophical Hermeneutics and Technology Enhanced Learning. Robin has experience as a solution-focused and CBT group facilitator and currently practices as an academic coach.
