Westminster College is a theological college and Resource Centre for Learning of the United Reformed Church (URC), a diverse community of Christians in Great Britain that assembles in approximately 1,500 local congregations across England, Wales, and Scotland.

Together with the denomination’s two other RCLs — Northern College (Manchester) and Scottish College (Glasgow) — Westminster develops meaningful educational opportunities and resources for people of all ages, backgrounds, and vocations. Since its beginning, the College has always trained ministers. But, because we are deeply committed to forming the whole people of God for life and ministry, over the past decade the Governors and teaching staff of Westminster have worked hard to broaden access to our educational offerings throughout the year, so much so that initial ministerial training now represents only a portion of our contribution to the wider church.

Our collective work is directly and generously sustained by annual financial support from the URC’s General Assembly through its Education and Learning Committee. We also depend on ongoing support from individuals in the URC and beyond.
