Immerse yourself in the rich language of the New Testament with our Intermediate Greek Reading and Translation course. Designed for students with a foundational understanding of Koine Greek grammar and vocabulary, this course will expand your skills and deepen your appreciation of the Greek texts.

Tutor: Dr Jonathan E Soyars

Jonathan E Soyars is an experienced educator who teaches Greek to students of all abilities. He earned his PhD in New Testament and early Christian literature at the University of Chicago and previously studied at Princeton Theological Seminary. He lectures and supervises on the entire New Testament canon, as well as relevant early Jewish and Christian literature, in the Cambridge Theological Federation and the Faculty of Divinity of the University of Cambridge.

 

 

Schedule

Arrivals between 11am and 1pm on Monday 13th Jan

Departures after lunch on Thursday 16th Jan

Teaching hours a total of 12 hours of classes with breaks for coffee, lunch, socialising and/or for preparing the text

Indicative programme:

  • Monday 13th: 12pm to 4pm
  • Tues 14th: 10am to 4pm
  • Weds 15th: 10am to 4pm
  • Thurs 16th: 10am to 1pm

Cost

The cost per delegate is £250, inclusive of all teaching material; tea/coffee, lunch (weekdays); and optional free activities. A 10% student discount applies.
